Watch it. Then watch the ball to remove Clarke. This guy, with a new Duke, is unplayable. Only 76 more wickets to be Englands all time wicket taker.

'Only 76'.

76 is a lot of wickets!

Bill Manspeaker

not too sure on the consistency of the umpires there... Patto's ball was hitting more of the leg stump than that one right there... ohwell..
did look out i guess

Pitch is meant to get better for batting today as it dries up a bit. The lower order should be able to scrape through quite a few runs. I think we will end the innings with a lead of about 50, especially seeing as Agar is due to come in at 11, and he averages over 30 with the bat in the First Class.

Ed Cowan is a spud and not a number 3 batsman. He is an opener, so he either opens, or doesn't play. When will the selectors recognise this? Bring in Khawaja for the next test instead of him.

I'm backing Smith and Hughes to share a large partnership here. I can't believe I'm saying it, but in India and now here, Smith is looking a decent batsman capable of playing an innings.

Surprise, Surprise - Watson has picked up a niggle

http://www.espncricinfo.com/the-ashes-2013/content/story/649995.html

QuoteStuart Broad is expected to bowl in the warm-up ahead of the second day's play at Trent Bridge and, if he is deemed fit, will be able to return immediately for England. Australia may be down one bowler for the remainder of the Test, however, after Shane Watson suffered a "lower leg niggle".
