Successful DRS reviews for match: Australia 2 of 9, England 3 or 4. Cook used it more judiciously and benefited from that. #ashes

Further Proof Michael Clarke is a knob
I knew you'd love that one.

Damn,  was a great test.
To those that are complaining about Haddin's wicket, it was a pretty straight forward decision. Absolutely out.

Aussies need to start using their referrels better, England alot smarter with their use.

Anyone think they could drop a batsman (Cowan) move Agar to 7th and bring in Lyon?  We sort of do need a more effective spinner.   And/or Starc for Harris (though that would lose our lefty pace bowler)?

This is the best post in this thread.

why are you not a green and gold person?

I don't see any reason why you'd support a team playing against your own country. It makes no sense. flower off out of our country.

That last decision was out, it looked it to me live, DRS just confirmed it. Seeing as the Broad wicket really sid deicee the match, hopefully the ICC can rework the review system so we don't get things like that happening again. Time for te Aussies to regroup for the next match, if we can just get some runs from the top and middle order and not leave everything to the tail, we will do all right. Just remember, we played poorly in thisnmatch and only just lost, so much for England being overwhelming favourites.

While Haddin did fall off a bad stroke, he played a great innings until then. Showed why he deserves to e there over Wade right now.

I'd make two changes for the next test, Khawaja and Harris in for Cowan and Starc. Cowan is not a number 3, while Usman is and he should get a go. Harris is a matchwinner and should be playing, Starc the worst of the bowlers.

The way you all are sounding on here i might just do that. I don't see why you are all going crazy over every decision that didn't go the way of Australia. It's ok to be angry, but why blame the match on it when if you look closely, you'll see that it was Australia that cost themselves the match. Or more closely, as BP has said alot, it's Michael Clarke's fault.

DRS should be changed though, as i can't see teams changing the way that they use the system, and since they all use it to buy wickets, not correct howlers. the system needs to change. :-\

@BB: That was brilliant by Haddin, he'll keep his spot for sure. :)

I'd love to this happen too, but Cricket Australia loves both so much, I wouldn't be surprised if they held their spots.

its me lads

India know where it's at, we should refuse to use the DRS. 3rd umpire was probably a pom. Very inconclusive decision at the end and players using the DRS against what it was designed for. As many have said it is meant to be in place to get rid of the absolute howlers, now players just think oh yeah reckon we might be a chance here or Geez I hardly edged that, might be able to get away with it so they just review for the sake of it.

Very bad way to finish an exciting test (exciting in many different  ways.)

Good to see my man Haddin getting some runs though, best gloveman we've got by a county mile IMO.

The "batters" in our side need to have good look at themselves in the mirror.

Because unlike you piece of showers who have no patriotism or pride in your country. We have passion for our country, Win, Lose or Draw they are doing therir best to represent every Australian. If you want to support England then book your plane tickets and flower off over there, who knows England will probably sign you up for the next Ashes series.

specky92

I doubt they'd go for England if Australia were favourites,

Bandwagoning cows that want to support a winner in everything they follow. Airport shouldn't be too far, go there and get the flower out of our country.

Dont worry that cheating cow will be hearing my opinion when he is fielding at fine leg at Adelaide oval.
haha ohh I can't wait. Hopefully the crowd boo him to tears. Cheating cow.

Windigo

The solution is boot Cowan, what a flog he is.
