Watch it. Then watch the ball to remove Clarke. This guy, with a new Duke, is unplayable. Only 76 more wickets to be Englands all time wicket taker.
'Only 76'.

76 is a lot of wickets!
It is, but the guy is 30. Are you expecting him to retire by the end of next year? He'll get 40+ by the time these 10 tests are over...

Maybe only was the wrong choice of words, but he'll comfortably reach that milestone. :)

flower mate have to start calling you Jukes soon. Gonna suck him off when he comes to Adelaide too?
Nige, Jukes and PB were all cheering for the Poms on chat last night. ::)
Awww, aren't we all just a little upset? Whatchu gonna do about it?  ??? ::)

Traitors? If that's what you call freedom of choice these days, then sure.

I thought I had a right to support whoever I wanted.

So you dont want to be named in the 2nd Test then Cowan?

who will replace him?

Warner? he will not be in the country when the second test starts
Well you dont play a shot like that on your first ball at the crease.
Have a look at a few, see what the pitch is doing, get ya eye in etc.etc.   ..Pretty standard stuff
I doubt Lehman will be too impressed.
As to whom replaces him, Khawaja straight in at 3 OR move Hughes to 3 and put Khawaja in at 5. Or just keep Warner in England instead of sending him to play for Aus'A'.

If you're going to go against your own country in sport, that's fine, but don't complain when you cop shower from your ex-fellow-countrymen. ;)

Unless you were born overseas and spent at least 4-5 years of your life over there I don't think you should support them imo

Australia is where you live, if your parents were born overseas but you weren't? Who gives a flower. Your parents might be yanks/brits/whatever but YOU aren't. Whatever passport you might get who cares. If you were born in Australia and live here you're a bloody Aussie and should support us.

Your parents might have been born overseas but you weren't... It's not England government funding your schooling etc. It's the Australian government

I understand if you were born/lived overseas or have a decent similar reason

But cows that lived here your whole life and support another nation... get flowered

Well summed up Nails.

Back to the cricket, Cowan obviously struggles at 3 more than anywhere at this early stage but I'll wait to see the 2nd innings before passing judgement. I thought Khawaja was a bit unlucky not to get a gig in the first place.

Who would have thought we'd be relying on Steve Smith and Phil Hughes to save us ::)

apart from the coach nothing in Australian cricket has changed
