Valkorum sorry but I have seen a lot of freo and it is more boring than watching grass grow. St.kilda used to be the same as did Sydney before that.

Bloody boring to watch AFL wont want them in the finals lol
That's exactly what the Fatman said about Sydney when they won the Flag. And from memory the game was a sell out.

Theres your problem, you are talking about history.  Look closely, the game plan between St Kilda and Freo are massively different - the only thing you see is the defensive ability to stop teams scoring and assume its the same.

And just to clarify - RTB wasnt the coach of Sydney, he was an assistant.

I think Freo need to be top 2 to make the GF.

1 home final is not enough to guarantee the GF, but  playing an prelim in Perth. Not too many teams would be looking forward to that one..

I dont think they need top 2, They have the ability to shut down the best teams in the comp and its about time they are seriously considered as grand final contenders. Looking at the game on the weekend they had No Pav, No Sandi, No Mundy and underdone Walters and playing youngsters such as Taberner, Crozier and Hannath and still managed to restrict another finals contender to 29 points even though it was in the wet whilst kicking 10 goals.

I think what Ross Lyon would take most out of the game is the fact they kicked 10 goals and they had 9 different goal kickers they have been critisiced in the past about how they lack different avenues to goal something they have turned around this year. Also Spurr keeping Thomas goal less went along way to winning the game.

Honestly i dont see them dropping a game for the rest of the year. Danger games against Geelong at home this week and Richmond at the MCG but i can honestly see them winning all of them.

I automatically thought of confidential. Good Call, Bad call.... MASSIVE call.

But looking at the fixtures you are right Geelong, Tigers and probably Blues away are the only games that they might drop and really would probably be fav to win all but the one vs Geelong.

It will be even better (not) hearing the Eagles crowd for that game too. They will all be silent and then resort to booing the umpire and picking on Swift.... Oh wait, I mean Masten or Gaff

Why would we boo the umpire or pick on one of our quality young midfielders? We will be 10 goals up at Halftime?

You cant tell me that the Eagles fans have not got stuck into Swift over the last two years.....

They like to vent on someone if things arent going right

Haha of course they got into Swifty but Masto and Gaffy are showing substantially better ability/form. I'm not saying getting into Swift was justified but you can see why some did it.

And you can't single out WCE fans. Most teams have their whipping boy ;)

Freo's was poor Keplar. Cops so much from "some" fans and he is a genuinely good player

Yeah thats just it. Its a sad minority that do it for a cheap laugh. Refelcts poorly on the rest of the supporter base as well as affecting the target player :-\

Keplar isnt the whipping boy - Adam McPhee was the whipping boy

I will admit, Jesse White is my whipping boy. He's a spud.  ;D
