Okay so I'm going early but as Hanley is the only relevant player not yet to play and he is likely to drop in price think that it should be fine.  I originally wasn't going to make this trade until later in the season, but I think you can only have one of Goodes and Vlaustin in your team by finals and given Vlaustin's B/E will need to make the call this week.  Goodes is more consistent and requires more money for a decent upgrade.

So looking at trading out Vlaustin this week as my only trade.  I have $76k in the bank so can afford any of Hanley, Heppell, Hibberd or McKenzie.  My defensive line is:

Goddard, Shaw, Gibbs, ???, Birchall, Goodes (Brown, Thurlow)

The candidates:

Pearce Hanley (Bris)
Price: $483,500*
Average: 103.4*
Score range: 49-160*

Michael Hibberd (Ess)
Price: $480,100
Average: 98.4
Score range: 71-124

Dyson Heppell (Ess)
Price: $480,200
Score range: 73-149

Trent McKenzie (GCS)
Price: $462,900
Score range: 76-114

Which would be the best option?

Hanley will be much cheaper than Hibberd/Heppell, and averaging more. Doesn't play Collingwood again, so no chance of the Macaffer tag (averaging 109.44 excluding that game). Don't think he'll get tagged many more times now (if at all), and Brisbane's second half of the year is pretty amazing. I'll be getting him next week.

I would say Hanley>Hibberd>Heppell>McKenzie

Bully

Hanley all the way, he has a huge ceiling and has shown some good consistency.

Hanley or Heppell. Doesn't really matter which one you take

Does Voss's recent affliction of playing Hanley forward effect this decision?

Was tagged, then scored 91, then was knocked out. Position won't matter, he'll be right.
