The young socceroos's world cup campaign kicks of at 1am on sbs 2 against columbia, tbh not confident as we lack the players
Starting XI: Izzo; Geria, Chapman, Good, Galloway; Irvine, Brillante; Hoole, De Silva, Pain; Taggart

Can't believe Amini didn't get selected for the squad. Ridiculous decision! ::)

I know!! even when Antonis got injured he wasnt even called up, Okon said it was due to lack of fitness but thats a joke because he played well in a couple of friendlys

Wow look at our last squad for 2011 world cup, heaps better! and also our under17 team didnt qualify for there world cup later this year :/

Da Silva could be good, he's been very hyped up at glory but hasn't shown anything in the few games he played for us last season. Irvine is a promising lad, played one match for us against Hibs last year and captained our under-19s to the league-cup double. Hopefully they can get over the line tonight.

England play Iraq tomorrow I think, our team is star-studded. Johnston, Bigirimana, Flanagan, Coady, Kane, Lascelles, Cole, Garbutt and Barkley all progress to being gems on footy manager, hopefully can put it together for England this tournament and in the future.

Just looking at the tournament so far and see Yaya Sanogo scored for France in their first game. This bloke will be a flowering superstar in a few years time. Immense talent.

tbh we looked really good and slick. De Silva will be a weapon

I went to school with Brilliante

Why did Okon leave out Gameiro from the starting XI? He dominated the qualifiers/friendlies

And leaving Amini out was a bad move
