Activation Email problems

I've been having problems with your activation emails.  My original username was Babylove.  I have recently squired a second email account, and when I changed my email address here to the new email,MIT said my account required activation and that an activation email had been sent.  However I did not receive the email (and I did check my spam folder).  I have since requested the activation email more than a dozen times over the course of several days, but still did not receive it.  I also checked the email address by requesting a password reset and trying to re-register, both time saying that the email is already in use or that the account t is awaiting activation.

I have now created another account with my old email and a new username.  No activation was required as I was able to gain immediate access to the new account without having to wait for an activation email.  I would prefer to get my old username back.  Can you help me?

when mOnty moved the forum to another server weeks ago the email system didn't go with it he said it would be fixed weeks ago but still nothing happened

before the new server we use to get emails when we got messages which was very handy butstopped after the server move and has not been fixed yet i believe the two issues are related
