McEvoy vs Maric vs Goldstein

Jacobs to Maric vs McEvoy vs Goldy

Maric avg 97 455k + 171k in the bank
2 (10%)
McEvoy avg 103 463k + 163k + no Hickey this week
3 (15%)
Goldstein avg 114k 557k + 69k
12 (60%)
Keep Jacobs and upgrade elsewhere

ok here it is.. Kommer to Hrovat so far

Jacobs has to go I think.. Have nothing else to stress about as everyone I need is named

anyways here is my team with 10 trades and 234k

GODDARD, GIBBS, BIRCHALL, HARTLETT, vlastuin goodes (Terlich Thurlow)

ABLETT, PENDLES, DANGERFIELD, JPK, COTCHIN, BARLOW, PRIDDIS mitchell (hrovat, KMartin)

MINSON, jacobs (Nicholls Rowe)

COX, BARTEL, NIC NAT, SJ, ROCKLIFF, JKK(macaffer staker)

Looking at Maric and McEvoy or do I go all out and get Goldy and blow most of my spare cash.. is Goldy due for a bad one? Maric on the up? is McEvoy going to bounce back or is Hickey going to come back soon after a stint in the VFL..

All obviously have pros and cons.

But for me as you have said, Maric is at risk of injury/poor form and McEvoy's scoring is somewhat dependent on whether Hickey is in the team. Whereas Goldy's only con is his price.

If have the bank for it and you aren't planning a couple of upgrades straight after the bye then grab Goldy without thinking, the other two options have risks which are beyond your control!

Goldy rucking alone is another pro for sure.. no competition.. however he is pricey and I got big Will win last week which didn't work out great  ::)
well.. the two cheapys are tempting for sure but you are right.. there is too much 50/50 this and that. Don't think I have much pressing upgrade wise. Macaffer to Daniher next week or Terlich to Wilson depending on how both Terlich/Wilson go this round.. and playing Mitchell as m8 at the moment, hopefully that doesn't burn me too much.. also monitoring JKK and see when he drops off

I'm strongly considering Big Boy McEvoy simply because I could use the extra 100k over the next couple of weeks to finish off my team.
Not touching Maric, but for me it's Goldy vs McEvoy.

I have Maric and McEvoy and I have faith they can turn it around.

However I think you should consider Maric will improve as the Tigers improve, can't say the Saints will improving and finding form anytime soon..

nothing fresh that we know of. Obviously Maric had a leg issue pre-bye, might of been the dreamtime game he rolled his ankle or something.. Big Boy just looks stuffed all the time haha nah haven't heard anything about him. Didn't realise he was so cheap.

Still trying to make up my mind! Anyone else have any thoughts between the 3 options? I have 1 trade left for the round, 280k in bank, and will trade out Macaffer (via Cox DPP).
If I don't trade i'll be fielding 15 players  :'(

Yeah i've been looking at so many stats and stuff, might just have to bite the bullet! StKilda literally can't get any worse, Richmond will be constantly battling for a top 8 spot, and Goldy has been averaging 110+ in a side that is 13th...

Maric probably has the most upside, and getting him will leave me with 180k to upgrade again next week.
McEvoy is the 'safe' option, and is the least likely to drop away from his current form.
Goldy though has been very consistent - will he be rested closer to finals time?

Happened close to half time so I reckon he will be back but normally they are pretty conservative so that might be the end of him tonight
