Played on the weekend and played well. Very much a watch-this-space one here. Could offer opposition clubs a lot still imo.

Just noticed Crossy is on the unrestricted free agents list released by the AFL today. Will make finding a new club a lot easier for him !

Don't have to be so condescending kb. Not everyone knows everyone on the list, I didn't realise he was either, I just figured they would trade him.

think Toga knows not to take me to seriously but sorry

The way you wrote it I just interpreted it as you being in shock that someone wouldn't know that.
All good if you didn't mean it :)

Toga

To be honest no I actually didn't know he was on the FA list. :P

Like CF I just assumed that he would be looking at a trade or something because they're treating him like crap, but in hindsight being his age etc it's probably pretty obvious he should be on the FA list.. :-X

Bluke

Eagles could fit him into their midfield if they're serious about a premiership tilt next year... We need some bigger bodied midfielders.

Yarran and Cross would be two good pickups for WCE's needs.

If I was the Eagles I would be using Yaz at HB instead of a crumbing forward. Betts is out of contract so he could be up for grabs as well.

JBs-Hawks

Come to the hawks crossy, get yourself a premiership that you will never win at the bullies :)

Bluke

Hurn and Waters on half back already. Yarran would be small fwd with time in the midfield/wing, we need outside pace and inside grunt. Half back line is rock solid when fit

Yep very keen! Feel like we'd have throw some money at Cross though as he's not a WA boy :(

One thing they lack out of that back half is pace by foot. That is how Carlton exploited them over in Perth earlier in the year. Yaz would basically replace Adam Selwood and I wouldn't be relying on Waters to stay fit, the advantage they would then have is they can throw him around where they need him. If he leaves the Blues it is going to hurt us going forward, although he is quite injury prone himself, his pace and use by foot is elite.

Cross is better off going to a team in a premiership window, the Eagles could be an ideal fit, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to someone like the Dees to help ease the pressure of Jones and Viney winning the inside ball for a couple of seasons.

We have enough experienced inside midfielders  ;)

Not really sure the title of this thread fits anymore, but confirmation that Cross will play his last game for the Dogs this weekend.

I'd be surprised if he's not at another club next season.
