Who would you pick between these 2? Griffen obviously a star but will he keep it up? JPK hasn't really pushed out those big ones but have a feeling he could explode in the second half of the season and the swans are flying. Thoughts?

From memory there is about 80K difference in price, go JPK on this basis

Dusto23

Money isn't an issue although 80k is a big difference.

fever

obviously if griffen can maintain his average then he is the one, it's just a risk as to whether or not he can, and it's something that you have to decide on your own. if you think he will then take the plunge, it could pay off handsomely. if it doesn't pay off it's unlikely that it'll be a total disaster.

so if money isn't an issue i would punt on griffen (also because there's some small amount of doubt as to the effect mitchell will have on jpk's scoring).

JPK. Just a little in front of griff. IMO

I think Boyd back might start eating into Griff's points. I have JPK and have been pretty happy so far.

In the 4 games Griffen has played without Boyd he has averaged 130.5, but in the 5 he has played with Boyd he is still averaging a very impressive 118, and that was due to his game against Adelaide in round 4 where he got injured and only scored 53. Take that out and he is averaging 134.25 with Boyd in the team.

Cheers for your input guys, think I might play it safe and go with JPK

Boydy imo wouldn't impact on Griffos SC scoring.

fever

agree with greenmoon. if anything boyd will enhance it, because he'll get in and dish the hard ball out even more often to griff. but most likely it'll just remain the same.

Bully

I haven't ruled out bringing in Griffen but I most certainly won't be buying him at the top of his price cycle. One score of 70 - 80 will see his price dip considerably. JPK is as cheap as chips and will probably average the same as Griffen from this point. The Doggies also have a much tougher run coming up, I would expect Griffen's numbers to come back to the pack as a direct result.

Don't forget the tried and trusted mantra - buy low, sell high.
