Heres my options i have come up with...:)

1. Laird/Caff > Ibbo/Rooey = 18 Fielded with forward emergency
2. Laird/Watson > Rooey/Titchell = 19 Fielded with no emergencies
3. Laird/Blitz > Rooey/Titchell = 18 Fielded with no emergencies
4. Laird/Watson > Rooey/Jack = 19 Fielded with no emergencies
5. Laird/Blitz > Rooey/Jack = 19 Fielded with no emergencies

With no teams yet these are what I have narrowed it down too :)

...getting or not getting tommy mitchell is doing my head in!!!

I wouldn't dump watson. Option 3 for me. Titchell is set to go up $120k and might be as good as a premo. Can't go past him.

i dont think watson is top 8 mids this year and he is not playing this week....getting rid of him gives me the chance to get in a jack or someone averaging 105+ sometime soon...

At this stage it will be silly to trade out Watson. Option 3 for me

Also a fan of option 3, Mitchell will make a lot of money quickly hard to pass it up when completing a team and would be great as a keeper for cover down the track. To good to miss out on I think.

Option 3 all the way! Watson is still a proven premium, might be down on form as of late, I would back him to pick himself back up after the bye!

rather than trade Blitz out, couldn't you DPP him to rucks and take Naismith out for TMitchell?

gives you some form of cover then

but having 2 cash cows in rucks seems kinda awkward since there wont be another ruck downgrade this year...
also i dont really need cover in rucks lol

It's a good point with titch on the bench, I was more just looking at the players rather than your team's structure. I could've brought in some captain worthy midfield premo this week along with titchell, but instead I'm bringing in a defender so that titch will get a run next week. In your case, you either dump a premo or have titchell on the bench....

...even if he was only the bench, I'd still grab him.

yep sure could get ibbo/titch...i have staker in forwards so laird goes for either a defender or forward...
but imo rooey is more important then ibbo/ellis i think right now...i tend to trust him more then the other premos i can get!

titch will play. I mean like why wouldn't he, just tore it up.
Also if your confident in NRoo then do that trade. Imo it's also the better option of the 4

N. Roo is likely to score the most, yes. But as far as BE's go, Ellis has the lowest. He's certainly riskier than N.Roo, though.

Take my case, for example: I want N. Roo, Gibbs, Ellis and T. Mitchell in the next two weeks. Obviously Titch this week and Gibbs next week. So like you I face the choice of N. Roo and Ellis. I'm going with the later because next week he will be more expensive, where as N. Roo should be less expensive unless he goes 130+. Also, if Bartel is named it wouldn't make sense for me to get N. Roo this week as it would force me to bench a playing forward.
