who to get Buddy(super cheap) or NRoo(consistant gun)

Buddy
NRoo

chaosAD

leaning to roo but not sure

Adamant

NRoo easily. I've got both and even though Buddy is value at his price, Riewoldt will probably be a top 3 forward.

bslinger

Rooey for me too, exceptional work rate particularly with the +6's out on the wings all game long with his huge tank. More importantly doesn't have to kick a bag to score well, which can't be said for buddy at the moment unfortunately.

Roo without a thought
Buddy not working hard enough, he's kicking 4 or 5 goals at times and still no ton? Nope

ShaynoB

Roo for sure! No sign of slowing down!! Without him it's scary to think how the Saints might have gone this year

Franklin isn't in the best form of his life.

Riewoldt also hasn't scored a ton since round 7. Im actually up in the air about spending the cash on him. To give you an idea before flogging it off; You could spend similar money on Cornes, Watson, Swallow, or spend a 30/40 extra thousand and get Stanton/Pendles.

For his price range it doesn't seem worth it...

Is n. roo set for a price drop, then? Anyone know his BE?

its me lads

NRoo breakeven is 133 so will lose cash.

I have Buddy not not happy with him at all. Not sure.

He's got Melbourne this week. ;) He pumped out a 153 against the Swannies up in New Zealand! absolute gun.

I'm hoping he doesn't make it to 133 so I can swap JJK for N. Roo without it costing me too much.

Jigsaw

Brought NRoo in this week for Dwyer as part of a planned bye trade. NRoo all the way.

To be honest, although I would select Nick Riewoldt ahead of Buddy, he hasn't tonned up since round 7 and his 3 round average is only 85. He is a good option, but personally I'd much rather Dustin Martin if you don't have him, or Jimmy Bartel for around the same price range. These two are probably more consistent and have better draws after their byes - and also have midfield time to get plenty of the pill. Nic Naitanui would probably average the same as Riewoldt for the rest of the year in my opinion, or even Matthew Stokes.
