With so many mids out this week (assuming most have combination of GAJ, SWAN, PENDLES, WATSON, JOM, DANGER ect...) would JOM - J.SELWOOD be an option (only $100k in bank so can afford JACK/BARLOW).

At only $430k and a b/e of 60ish he will make some quick cash to potentially 'upgrade' to BARLOW/JACK ect but he could also be back into a bit of form after the break and the big score against GWS... And with games against Bris, Adel, Melb and St Kilda in the next 6 he could find some consistancy.

Can he average 100+ for the remainder of the year?

I see him as a better value than BOYD (injury prone this year)/S.MITCHELL (playing back a lot more) at present.

He's good value, but he's also struggling with the hard tag this year. I'd look elsewhere.

fertalong

He's been too inconsistent so probably isnt the best option unless you plan to use him short term and finish with him at M9. I might consider doing that.

powersuperkents

He's easily the best budget pick :) Way better than the showerheap Cotchin  >:(

Power16

I am thinking of getting him and just taking the punt he'll hit form. He's a quality player, well proven he can average over 100

pommyadam

a similar BE To Boyd/Scooter this week
basically the option if you're low on cash

underpriced for what he can produce, but can throw out 70 at you, and rarely goes over 115 (coming from someone that's had him all season, i'd be bringing in Boyd/Scooter/Cornes this week)

Bluke

I'm bringing him in and dropping Watson for Boyd as well.

I had planned to have more chash for rd 13 upgrades but Hrovat ruined that. Now I'm on a budget and J Selwood looks mighty fine!

Adamant

I started with Jelwood, but if I didn't have him I'd be strongly considering.

Proven scorer, ridiculously cheap, good draw coming up and plays at his beloved Skilled quite a bit in the next few weeks.

The only negative to him is his inconsistent scoring this year, which I find interesting as he is known for being very consistent in past years (rarely drops below 90).

With the emergence of SJ through the mids this year I think he may not get tagged as heavily towards the end of the year as he is no where near as damaging as SJ is. Going to take the punt I think at worst I can trade him back next week to JOM and make 30k+ off him and then make the same of JOM the following week.

BOYD is the only other one I am considering as I already have COX, NIC NAT, KENNEDY and PRIDDIS so SCOOTER is out of the question as far as I am concerned. He is getting on but still DT Gold as he won't get tagged with GRIFFIN playing so well.

Only managed five 100s this year but he is a proven premo and have seriously looked at him. His price is too good to not consider

Your effectively downgrading Watson to Jelwood. To be honest I think this is a bad move. Unless your plan is to reverse this in a couple of weeks. I know who i'd rather have in my mids end of season (based on what we know now).

my dilemma is Jelwood or Delids??

do I take Jelwood at close to 'fire-sale' price with better consistentcy and lower ceiling ...

OF

go for broke with Delids and his bigger ceiling but higher standard deviation and low of 53 (ouch!) ...   ;)

Im definitely looking at him, not sure if I can fit him in though.

Lids no resting risk, shares the tag somewhat, relatively soft draw
