Can anyone give me a reason to go for jack over kornes?
Can't decide between the 2 but I think kornes is just in front due to his bargain price.

midfield is swan, Ablett, pendles, barlow, priddis, s.Mitchell, t.Mitchell, Evans.
Want to upgrade Evans to one of the above.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Kornes currently has a very tough month ahead of him. versing Sydney, Collingwood, Essedon and Hawthorn in hi next 4 games. His avg against sides 9-5 is 100.6 (3 games). The only top 4 side he has versed is Geelong and he scored 74 (his lowest this season). Now he is coming up against 3 genuine top 4 sides which is making him not a good pick up for now. Which is why I'm considering to bring him in later.

I got in Jack this round for that reason. Looking at Jacks current month he is versing Port, Carlton, Melb and GWS. he is versing the 2 bottom sides, but only scored 107 on GWS in rd 1.

Jacks month is looking more promising, hence why i am on board. Also Kornes isn't looking too good, and possibly may drop more cash where as Jack may increase.

Hope this helps, and good luck :)

Personally I'm keeping Cotchin. If you have rookies like -Dwyer, Macaffer, Crouch to name a few then they should go before Cotch. Anyway I'd go with Barlow.

I ousted Dwyer & Caf ages ago :) and went Crouch to T Mitch this week :) Why Barlow? I just need a solid opinion on him because Jack's price tag just keeps making me go off him. I'll probably end up with both anyway just I want the best one for now :)

Well you said before that your likely to have them both eventually so maybe Jack he has Port, Carlton, Melbourne, GWS in the next 4 games. Barlow has North, Geelong, Saints, WCE in his next 4, not really tough but Jack's is certainly easier.

imo that is a "luxury" trade. Is there anybody else in which you can upgrade? If you want to trade out Cotch, make that one of your last trades. You should be looking at upgrading not sideways. Maybe trade out JOM? its his bye this round and you will be making an upgrade whilst avoiding a donut.

I've already gone O'Meara-> Stants  :-\

My team is currently:
B: God, Hep D, Gibbs, Hanley, Birchall, Vlastuin, Thurlow, Frost (4/8 out)
M: Gaj, Swan, Pendles, Stants, Swallow, Watson, Cotchin, T. Mitch, Hrovat, Hutchings (5-7/10 out)
R: Cox, McEvoy, Blicavs, Nicholls (1/4 out)
F: Dusty, Rocky, Stokes, Stevie J, Buddy, Staker, Bennedy, Lee (1-2/8 out)

1 trade left
$306k in the bank.

I was thinking if Hutchings isn't named I could go Hutchings-> K Cornes
or I could sub Vlastuin in the midfield and go Hutchings-> Enright/Ellis or Ibbotson (would also provide me with an extra mid)
Both trades don't really appeal to me so far, they seems good but I think there could be some much better and cheaper options  :-\ I was thinking also sideway trading Frost-> Blayne Wilson (if named)

any thoughts mate? and thank you a lot for your help I really do need it this week :)

I reckon it's unlikely Blayne Wilson will be named this week. Eagles are set to have five changes with LeCras, Waters, JJK, Glass and Schofield likely to return.

I think a lot of people are in your situation where they want a premo midfielder this week as well as titchell, but what it means in most of the cases I've seen is that next week titchell will be sitting on the pine. If he comes out with another 100+ score this week, you'd be crazy not to start the kid (given that his 98 was sub effected in his first game). Personally, I like the Hutchings-->premo defender (probably enright - seems very reliable), as it means next week you have adequate cover at M8 with titchell and an extra premo defender, rather than titchell sitting on your bench. If it weren't a bye round, your best move would probably be to go Cotchin-->Cornes, but given that you need every available player, best to hold.

Yeah I agree :) So do you think I should wait and see if Hutchings is named? If so I turn him into Enright and complete my backs. Then I could turn Vlastuin into a premium midfielder later down the track? :)

Definitely the best option is to trade out Hutch to a premium defender, or even a premium forward by switching Kennedy into the midfield? You can bring in some one like NRoo.

So your best option is to bring in NRoo or Enright (maybe even Ibbo??) then in later rounds downgrade the dpp player you swapped into the midfield to free up cash to then upgrade your final spot in the other position (so if you get in NRoo, downgrade kennedy then upgrade vlastuin/thurlow to a premo).

At the rate Titchell is going you want him to be your m8, and possibly not even upgrade, who knows.

I guess your the one giving me a couple of cheers hahahaha, thanks :)

^^ I like that plan. Doing a similar thing myself this week, Scotland-->Enright, JOM-->Titchell, leaving Vlastuin in my mids. I could have traded Scotland for someone of the likes of Jack/Barlow, but as I said, that would mean next week Titchell sits on my bench. So at the risk of i) not having a very good captain option this week (tossing up between SJ and Swallow :-\), & ii) losing out on the points difference between a premo mid and Enright, my backline gets a boost because my midfield doesn't need it as badly.

That is a fantastic plan :) I came up with the exact same thing whilst playing basketball outside :) It is the best possible option, it really is by far and I can get my cash back next week by going Vlastuin-> Daniher through the Staker dpp ;D Thank you :)
