Got 7 or 8 defenders named this week... can only field 4... got only 2 forwards named... :'(

Can I just my emg's in positions just because i have 3 OOP and i have more players who can be selected... :(

monstrum

Yeh u just name ur players OOP and u get half their score, and then can still name emergencies..

I think thats the answer u wanted..?  :-\

Justin Bieber

Yeah I saw it... Kept Billy Longer in the rucks just incase of late out... then chucked Whitfled in the forward line. Left the other forward spot for the 3 defender emgs

So 3 emgs will cover 2 spots. 3 OOP is probably worse than 1 less :( lol.

Toga

We'll be a player short this week as well unless Jarryd Lyons comes in for a late change for the crows... Beats me why he's not playing, better player than half the cows last week...

Will be closer than we'd have liked vs the Eskimos but hopefully we'll get the job done.

This rule has never been decided upon - I am not going to put it to a vote i am just going to make a call and I will PM all coached.

I will be nice and honest ( instead of keeping the hint to myself).

Point A) - If you have a position ( example FWD) where you do not have enough players to field say one missing.

You can choose to name a mid or defender there ( ONLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A PLAYING FWD - NO MATTER HOW BAD).

This player named out of position will score 50% of his score same as an emerency covering a player in a position other than his.

Point B) - You can also choose to leave the spa BLANK - (name no one) - what this does is mean you will get your HIGHEST SCORING EMERGENCY players score for out of position at 50%.

It is up to you which option you choose.

Obviously if you only have one player out you are much better off leaving the slot blank and taking your best of the three emergencies scores for the out of position emergency cover score.

However if you have 3 or 4 players out and some risky players named, you will probably want as many emergencies named as possible to use in case you need them - so in this instance you are better off naming players (OUT OF POSITION) which in turn allows you to still name more as emergencies to cover the risky players you may have had to name.

JUST REMEMBER - IF YOU HAVE ANY PLAYER PLAYING IN HIS POSITION - YOU MUST NAME HIM OVER ANY OUT OF POSITION PLAYER - AND YOU CANNOT LEAVE THE SLOT BLANK EITHER IF YOU HAVE ANY PLAYING PLAYER IN THAT POSITION.

Any questions ask me so we are all clear on this ruling.

8 fowards and 8 defenders playing :P

I have 3 forwards - 1 ruck - 7 mids - 7 defenders.

gone for the option of naming nahas ( effectively leaving my FWD 4 slot empty) and named a mid and 2 def on my emergencies who will cover him.

i named nahas there as he is an emergency and may be a late in....

I need more forwards at trade time that is for sure.

at least these byes teach us a bit about our lists :)

a note on the PM i sent you all regarding naming of teams and OOP players.

it is not a vote, or a choice of option a or option b - it is point a and point b - both are the case. You do what is best for your team on any given week.

the only rule is that you cannot name an OOP player or leave a slot blank if you have ANY playing player on your list for that position (senior listed or promoted to senior list player that is)

make sense?

Yeah mate, unlucky. If it was allowed I'd donate you some of my non-starting guys to make it a fairer match.
