yeah depends on the amount of games he plays this year. i think the Bombers will want to get some game time into him though.

i dunno how many games he has to play to be ineligible for next year though

I'm happy for anyone to correct me because I'm not sure myself, but I think it's 10 games?

Toga

Yeah it's under 21 on the 1st of January of the year of the award, and under 10 games experience.

Ziplock

yeah, so 9 games or less

so poor patton isn't eligible next year :(

1. See it how you want, I choose not to ignore the blatant attempt by two clubs to not make certain they have the best possible team to put out in 2012/3/4  ???  cheats!

2. Also, how did the crows cheat? They didn't get a second round pick for Tippet so?

3. I will always defend the South Aussies ;)  Especially when not noticed :P
Ignore me all you want, I stand by this injustice

If I could, i'd have m0nty change me to = The Shield, whenever injustice the Shield will appear ;) As I do on chat ;)  and life, also twitter!

1. Well, in that case aren't the crows are guilty in the same way GWS/ GC? by trading a pick last year for crouch who couldn't play until this year, they make the best team they could in 2012 did they? Ftr, when it comes down to it, they were given the picks to help create an entirely new team.  You can infer that the picks were allocated to give the suns/ giants the opportunities to build the best teams they could, but it's taking it a bit far to infer a specific date from which they should be making this 'best possible' team by.
2. Did... you not understand... the entire tippett situation? Like, I'm not going to go over it...  but maybe go back over some articles, because I really don't think you understand why the crows cheated....
3. I guess someone needs to defend SA off the field... cause adelaide/port definitely aren't doing it on the field.

Sorry Zippy but fail from me here. Crows cheated by, Jurno's articles? Nope, we were done apparently draft tampering, btw which never happened :P Go back over it and tell me different :o  Did we actually get that pick? :o

Also, don't feed my that about the window bs, when was Sydney's window? :o Nah man, these poor clubs should have got experience into there teams, We/They/The AFL needed more from these new wannabe clubs, don't try deny it. Anyone else say Melbnourne, Port ect tried these tactics they'd be done for tanking ::)

Crouch? Don't see how a team who made 8/10 finals series can be judged on bringing a top underaged player into their system?

What is the one phrase clubs don't except? Don't except mediocrity! Sorry but I don't except this crap from the AFL, the idiot boss and in particular why should you either? :o

Once again the bag has brought justice, disagree? :o

the issue was the agreement to trade tippett to the club of his choice if he chose to go for a 2nd round draft pick, subsequently retaining a players services by making promises on what pick they would be traded for- which is draft tampering whether or not you received the pick or reneged on the deal.

even discounting the under the table extra payments

I never said anything about a window... ever... I don't know where you even got that from.

with crouch, you could have used the picks you used to get him to grab a player who would have fitted into your 22, albeit probably an older one/ a bit average, who would have immediately made your team better for the year. But you didn't, because you went for a 17 year old instead (despite doging and moaning about how the giants and suns could sign 17 year olds).

Once again though, you're raving.

I think you meant accept, not except. Although, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by
What is the one phrase clubs don't exceptaccept? Don't acceptexcept mediocrity!
If you meant 'what's the one thing clubs say they don't accept? don't accept mediocrity', then you've completely made my point for me.

clubs weren't willing to part with the types of players that were worth the picks gws was going for, and why should they accept mediocrity?

What's really pissing me off is that I can't find the article that says it... but the giants made offers for players like swan, hodge etc. involving mutliple first round picks/ mini draft picks, but were bounced back... so they didn't take showerhouse mediocre players for premium picks... like how adelaide didn't take kurt tippett for a 2nd round pick (even though they, albeit, illegally, told him that they were going to)

If someone plans to murder someone, and gets caught before it happens, doesn't mean they shouldn't get punished!

The Crows were guilty as sin, made a deal under the table, didn't tell the AFL.

We were guilty and copped it

I have heard Sheads say they wanted star players but couldn't get them, that annoyed me a little ans he was wrong, they needed experienced hard body's, the stars are the 50 first round picks they were given :P  and the free transfer players from each club if they could, they just got greedy! I still don't like it one bit!

Call me out fine I'll accept that, but I still chose not to ignore what those two clubs did and will suffer like all Adlealdians if Tipspud and Trigg cost us a Premiership.

Edit: Also let me settle this for you all, there were no salary breaches, those payments were from Balfours and the crows had the cap room anyway :P

Ziplock

so... you're saying let's say, omeara + crouch would be worth a player like renouf, or sierakowski... which were the type of players who were traded in the 2011 draft.

I mean, players like maric, ebert and tom lynch were also traded in that period, which in hind sight, are solid players and would have been worthwhile additions to the expansion clubs. Retrospectively, it's not fair to look back on them comparing them to how they are now- back then they were all pretty shower :P

I was just looking at the trading, we ended up being cornes, brogan and power for pick 49... solid enough I guess :P

Fair enough sure you don't trade high draft picks for nothing! Adelaide got three big guess for late 20s picks and i'm happy with JJ, Tommy and even the injured Johnston, we also got 20yr old Brown in the Crouch deal. Just saying more could have been done. But it's a bit late now! Enjoy another number one pick, but do you really need Boyd? ;)

Justin Bieber

Get around Kerridge and Crouch. Dropped this week ::)

Tominator

Too early to call it I reckon.. Nobody expected Mitchell to burst on the scene as good as he did! You never know there could be an absolute bolter that comes soon

still won't beat Jaeger. the only way this bloke won't win is if he has a season ending injury in the next couple of weeks.
