Nothing against O'Meara or Whitfield but, neither team deserve a rising star, imo they are both flowering cheats! (Ok maybe I'll make my own thread soon)

Suns what? AFL allowed a team of kids to recruit two more 17yr olds? Cheats

Giants no better! Take those early picks you never needed when, what you needed was older players ::)

Still, the AFL allowed it so ..... What should we be thinking? ???

Don't go hating on the Giants teabs! Without them you wouldn't have Crouchy!  ;)

Didn't even realise he was eligible. Yeah he'd be up there too. He's been pretty good! Out of him Kerridge and Whitfield for the last vote.

Omeara would have to not play another game to not win it from hear. He has been the standout right from the start. Wines was with him early but died in the ass with Neade and the rest of the team after round 5. Vlastuin in the mix but behind the eight ball having started late along weith Tom Mitchell.

Reckon your right mate.

mullett has been putting up some decent numbers.

I think that whitfield's underrated personally... he isn't a huge disposal winner (never has been from memory), but what he does with it is insane :P

voting now I would put whitfield over mitchell (as in if they voted right now, 2 games just wouldn't be enough for him imo).

Apart from that, JROO's is about right.

All really comes down to who finishes strongest though :P

Plus you cant really fault GCs recruiting policy, seeing as they are on the same win/loss record as the crows. They must be doing something right then ;) or are the crows doing something wrong? :P ::)

We are doing plenty wrong mate at the minute. :(

SydneyRox

there aint much point in guessing right now. Jroo has it around right if voting happened now.

but as some said this is a preference vote. if mitchell finishes stronger than yeager he will be pretty hard to beat. will keep himself in the judges mind for the last 10 rounds, older body with a later start should run out the season better than the 1st year rookies.
This award is entirely subjective, while looking back not many half year players have won, there is plenty of time for mitch to proove he us better than yeager!!  8)

Unless Mitchell has a crazy good finish to the year, O'Meara has got it easy.

He will be elite - All-Australian in the next 2-3 years (barring injury).

kilbluff1985

i know he cant win it but Kommer is playing his role brilliantly reminds of Dangerfield the way he attacks the ball

Nowhere near the standard to O'Meara and others and also Kommer gets 10 touches to Danger's 30 a game so there is no comparison since Kommer is the same age hahaha
