Thanks Ringo ! Your advice has been very handy mate :)

I used to basically have the entire Carlton midfield :P

This was going back a long way, probably 04 or 05 when the comp first started up. I remember reading the by stats thing and seeing that the Blues had the highest scoring midfield in SC. I ended up putting all our gun mids in (Stevens, Scotland, Kouta at the time). I started late my first season, so no chance of finals or any of that, it was just me scoring against myself. I remember think 1800 was a good score and now I am pissed with a 2200 haha. How the times have changed

Now for your question Vinny,

Give Mitchell a week to bounce back, with only two trades you need to be careful and make sure they are both good upgrades. I would look at upgrading Clisby if you can to a defender but you might screw yourself over without much cash. The other option is you role with Mitchell, downgrade Martin or Hrovat to Grigg from Adelaide and then upgrade your last defender and leave Wilson or Clisby for cover.

Vinny

Hahaha. You all have these stories.

And then theres mine...started the year with Daniher KMart Garner and no Pendles ;D

Thanks Matt. Yeah I think I will role with Mitchell. Surely he won't get tagged week in week out in the Swans crazy midfield.

I did some thinking and I have these two combinations.

Out - KMart Buddy  In - Bartel Scotland.  ( Keeping Zorko )
OR
Out- KMart Zorko.   In- Wellingham Hibberd/Adcock ( Keeping Buddy. )

What you think :)

Of those options I prefer Buddy's run compared to Zorko. Putting the players up head to head I look at it like this

Zorko      Buddy - Buddy wins
Bartel      Wellingham - Bartel wins
Scotland  Hibberd/Adcock draw as Hibberd is fairly consistent and if Scotty sees a role change he might not score as well.

Bartel should not be rested hopefully, but I would be slightly leaning towards option 2

Ringo

With Mitchell showing some signs of slowing down and being played as a forward last week need to consider him as well.

Look at this weeks Draw
Buddy playing Saints -
Zorko playing Richmond
Swans playing Pies.

Need to ascertain which 2 of the three you think will score the most and then trade. Only do this after assessing your opponents team and then trade to gain an advantage if required. Bench is week on all lines so if you can hold those trades all the better but no point in not trading if you go out in first week. Go with gut on whether to trade or not.

Vinny

Thanks heaps guys. Cheered you both again :)

Yes I have a decent opponent this week but feel I can beat him. I may just grab Scotland this week as his BE is -13

Then hold on the last trade until next week. Hoping Buddy doesn't drop to much and Bartel doesn't rise too much.

Hope Zorko doesn't cost me too much.
