Was thinking-

Leaves me with - 3 trades and 1 upgrade ( TMitchell as M8 )

Very solid trades mate, lock them in.

Like you've said we're both getting on Grimes, as he's dirt cheap and has a great draw (even though he is at Melbourne) and could average 85-95 for the rest of the year.
Pendles is the second best scorer in the game, so he's a MUST. 3 trades should just be enough mate, but you'd need to hold until finals for that final upgrade.

I'm very impressed with your team for a first year player mate! I myself am in my third year, and you did a lot better than I ever did.

Well done and good luck for the rest of the year mate.

Make sure you make use of your favourable draw as well in your league haha ;)

Hopefully as you said Grimes can keep a solid avg for the year and as for Pendles. Well his Pendles.

You'll definitely improve next year mate, as you know all the players well enough now and about choosing the right rookies, which is the most important aspect of creating yourself a good team.

Keep it up Bud.as stated team still looks pretty damn good for a 1st timer.rememberd mine in my debut year in 08..no idea lol players like jake king,Darren glass,Schneider,Kosi.. Ill never forget it!

Very Well done and great team for first year. My First year was shocking as well ended up 75K in 2010 which was my first year.

Pendles is a must at this stage of the season so trades you suggested are good. just the usual injury concern over Grimes and hoping he is not used as a tagger from now on. (Nicholson is Dees usual tagger but Grimes tagged Rich on Saturday night),
