Griffen or Cotchin

If you had to select one of the above who would you choose

Current midfield looks like this

Ablett Swan Pendles Watson Barlow Fyfe O'Meara Vlaustin (Kommer, Mitchell)

Will be upgrading O'Meara for bye structure

Griffin is hard to ignore with the form he is in. Do you have Terlich cause I'd be keen to get Vlastuin into Defence

I've had Griffen all year in fantasy elite

I've had Cotchin all year in regular dream team

Griffen has been fantastic (demand for 100's are a lot lower in fantasy elite though) but he has been a superstar

Cotchin has been a pain in my ass since round 5...

I don't know if Griff can keep up a 100+ average but I think he'll easily score more than Cotchin for the entire season. Cotchin is a showerhead who had one terrific year and then like Rockliff dropped to crap. I wouldn't be surprised if he averaged 90-95 by the end of the season. It's a up to you though, a lot of people feel safer picking Cotchin because of 2012 but if I could restart this season I would be avoiding him altogether.. He has only had two convincing premium scores this season as well... Out of the two in my opinion Griffen by a mile (75% subjective, 25% objective)

It also looks like Dusty and Vlas are stealing a lot of Cotchin's possessions. Lids does some games as well

No I ended up missing out on terlich... I am waiting on Staker or Thurlow to top out and then will be moving vlaustin into backline

Im looking at Griffen also and i would prefer him over cotchin. I am just worried his 166 has inflated his average and he will not be what we expect.

If I had to sum it up it is very risk vs. reward. The 166 is the only reason he is averaging 100+ but I think he can maintain 98-103 but he could just get better. Expect the off game every now and then but he should deliver 85-100 or 120+ almost every week in my opinion. I would choose him over Cotch 10 out of 10 times this season but you should also take a look at Boyd, Swallow, Watson and Jelwood if you don't already have them. I myself will most likely have Cotch in M9 by the finals. He is by far my worst starting pick I think Zorko (traded him out after three games) would still be a better pick than starting Cotchin this season  :-\
