should Melbourne be Flooding during games to try and reduce winning margins and focus on defending?

i have been thinking this for a few games now if i was getting belted every week it's what i'd probably do

I thought flooding was when you all pushed forward really hard?

I may have misread what you said, but are you saying the dees should just try and put as many people down into their defensive half?

Yeah defensive half Pagan's paddock etc pretty sure that's called flooding

It's flooding, commonly used in the dying seconds of a game in order to reduce the chances of opposition scoring. I feel as if it would reduce Melbournes scoring chances significantly rather than stop opposition scoring but they gotta try something.

Yeah that's my point I feel like he isn't trying anything

Leave Blease as the closest man to goal looked very quick when he kicked that goal
