which of these two should I pick up as a downgrade this week??

only have 9 players out round 13 atm so getting martin isnt an issue and hrovat just had his bye, but with boyd still to come back

In your case I would probably go Martin - I'm only going Hrovat because I can't afford any more magpies

Also think he has better JS.

Does Hrovat have locked JS? Or still a sub-risk? I know nothing of him but cheap enough for something average 65.

Going Hrovat out of necessity. I already have 5 round 13 premiums out! If you have the space though in the midfield I'd be getting Martin easily
