What are everyone's thoughts on him?  He started the year in amazing form, then had a horror 4 weeks culminating in a 30 against GWS, followed by 118 against Melbourne.

Birchall is typically a good SC scorer but this year has really dropped off, however is now a bargain.  Is Birchall still a realistic SC option?

I wont be getting him this week coming, high b/e and likely to be tagged by armfield. My backs are fine in rd 12 so he will make his way to mine in rd 13 for terlich. To answer your question, he certainly is a SC option. Dirt cheap!

His BE is about 100, which is about what you want from him week in week out. If you think he can't handle the tag then don't go near him, if you think he can then you shouldn't be worried about armfield this week.
