How did you reckon he went, might be thinking of getting him on his bye round

He did alright but I'd be concerned about the competition for that spot from Gumbleton.

glynman

Will definitely be waiting until he's named for game 3.

I'm more concerned about bellchambers as competition! Belly can kick straight ;)

but he was great very agile for a big man looked as though he belonged

McRooster

It was as if a giraffe and an octopus had mated...

Even Mum (Mrs Daniher) found it hard to watch.

its me lads

Will probably be a star at some stage, but maybe not this year. I'm sure they will want to get games into him however.

I can forgive him for missing a couple tonight, would have been full of nerves, so much hype around him. Although in saying that I'm very wary of key forwards as big as him.

Probably got more competition from Carlisle than gumby. ;)

I would love to see our spine as the following

Carlisle
Hurley
Watson
Gumby
Daniher

With Ryder/Gumby alternating between the pocket and ruck

Legoman

He actually looked real good. Most tall forwards find it hard to start in AFL and he defs looked the goods. Helps that he's been bagging goals in the VFL too.

henry

He was well beaten by henderson for most of the match, and as you would expect from a skinny 18yo was pushed under the ball a little easily. However did show enough I reckon to be given another shot, would have helped his chances if he kicked those 2 set shots in the last quarter.

Daniher will not be dropped for Gumby :o

ronl

Agree.  Thought I heard a whisper about Gumby sniffing around for new lodgings because he knows that the bomber forward line has been already staked out as "DANIHER TERRITORY".

Bulldogs were keen on him last year, and are interested in Crameri so that could be a good fit.

Brenny G

Hird said the Bombers were not in the business of sending players back to the VFL after one game, and Daniher had all but guaranteed himself selection against Gold Coast next Saturday night. "We'll certainly be playing him again. I thought he was reasonable tonight." - James Hird in his press conference after the game last night, future looks good for Daniher

Hard to fit, Hurley, Gumby, Daniher, Ryder and Bellchambers all in the same team

IMO Hurley and Bellchambers are walk up starters.
- You'd think Ryder comes next, then Gumby/Daniher can fight it out

Alka

I'm just glad the misses weren't the difference!

Should definitely get a gig as it's GCS next.
