Hey guys, this is my team. I'm currently sitting just outside the top 1000 and I'm hoping to make up a bit of ground in overall during the bye rounds. (I'm about 170 points shy of the top 500)

My plan:

R 11 - 20 scoring players (I forgot to put Laird on the field for Vlastuin in the photo)
Rowe --> Cloke

R 12 - 20 scoring players
Terlich --> Birchall
Viney -->  Hrovat

R 13 - 20 scoring players
O'Meara --> JPK
M.Jones --> T.Mitchell
Laird ---> Hanley

This should leave me with a team consisting of:

DEF: Goddard, Gibbs, Duffield, Hanley, Birchall, Goodes                    EMG: Vlastuin, Wright
MID: Ablett, Pendlebury, Swan, Watson, JPK, Fyfe, Selwood, Priddis   EMG: Mitchell, Hrovat
RUC: Maric, Kreuzer                                                                       EMG: Blicavs, Gawn
FWD: Cox, Bartel, Rockliff, Franklin, JJK, Cloke                                 EMG: Macaffer, Staker

I should have around 13 trades left and roughly 50k by the time the bye rounds are over. Assuming that I can field 20 players each week, do you guys think it's possible for me to break into the top 500 by the end of the bye rounds?

Should I be looking at bringing in some PODs? i.e. Kieren Jack instead of JPK? Also, I am a little worried about my forwards and rucks, as they will be a little weak by the end of the byes.

Anyone able to give me a couple of tips/suggestions? Thanks!

Trades look perfect but have you considered adding another trade to this week and next week?

Such as

Jones > Martin (Jones BE of 110 bound to drop)

And then JJK to Dusty next week would give you a bit more cash and strengthen that forward line.

Also I'm not sold on Cloke

Ringo

With Gawn on extended Bench I would wait to see if he makes the cut and if he does not would also use a trade on Gawn to Nicholls.
Trade wise you are in a very sound position.

Other trades sound bit ify on Rowe to Cloke but your team. However with 10+ trades after byes sufficient trades for rectification.
