Rucks are rubbish and although McEvoy has had a good pre-season he may be struggling to get a game when all of Blake, Gardener, Mcqualter and Kossi are all playing!

Could downgrade a premium mid (not Ablett) to Masten and then might be able to afford Jolly or Sandi..

hahah mcqualter?? i dont think he will be challenging for the ruck. you missed king. blake would not be picked to ruck over mcevoy. neither would kossie.

I would say gumby is in to cover franklin round 1.

You want 1 prem ruck for sure....

you have some very average players

Thanks for all the comments  ;D Let me justify a few players for you:

Hille: Averaged 70-80 the last two seasons and will play more forward this year so I see him as a bargin.

McEvoy: Watching his pre-season form it's hard to go past. Also freeing up some cash for the potent midfield. Bit of a gamble and if not named in starting 22 come rd1 I can change it up.

Gumby: I know ...... I know..... Injury prone yadda yadda it's a risk worth taking, at least for round 1 when Franklin will be suspended.

No Reiwoldt: Think he won't be as prominent as last year with lyon flagging dal santo and goddard to push forward more this year.

Keep in mind no rookie's are set in stone either as some still need to be elevated from the rookie list and also actually named rd1.
