It does. Atleast the beers taste good.  :(

The Greg Inglis no try was basically a decision by David Gyngell saying " I want a live decider in 3 weeks"

Motherflowering disgraceful decision in what arguably was the worst Refereed origin game I have ever seen.

This happens more often than not with sports that aren't just decided on one game ^

But hey, it works. I'll be watching game 3 :P

Will just make it sweeter when we smash NSW at Suncorp.

My take on the game as we watched on  a large screen with about 20 of us.

Like AFL referees try and do the best they can but with all the scrutiny in NRL compared to AFL every incorrect decision tends to be highlighted.

Sure there were controversial decisions and I am still trying to see the knock on for the no try (may have got a finger on it) but also bear in mind NSW had some decisions early go against them.

Was a great advertisement promoting the game in Melbourne.  Was more open than game one and showed what they game is all about. From a Qld perspective we really missed Cooper Cronk (gee I hope he is right for game 3) as imo THurston's general kicking in the game not as good as Cronks.

Anyway I will be there in 2 weeks time when Cam Smith holds the shield up.  ;D ;D

QLD played like NSW and NSW played like Queensland.

NSW went the niggle and QLD sooked to the refs. No one from QLD did anything after Thurston got hit twice after kicking. DCE is a bust and worse he made Pearce look like a decent player. He is QLDs Anasta!!! Thanks DCE, now Pearce keeps his spot.

I still dont know why the Inglis try was disallowed but you move on. I know i have to send the check to the video ref now instead of the refs on field. At least it isnt back to the 80s when the refs feed the scrum for QLD to give them an advantage

They were lots of rumours up here that if QLD won then Billy would have hung up the QLD boots and said thanks very much as his shoulder is shower

Ringo

Fair comment Cap and agree NSW will find it hard to drop Pearce. NSW targeted DCE which was obvious so in effect made Pearce look better than he was hence my comment hope Cronk is fir for decider,

One interesting fact that is overlooked apart from the blowouts there has been very little separating these 2 sides despite Qlds domination of the series over the last 10 years. If you take out the blow out scores from a couple of dead rubbers in 23 games since 2006 when Qld run started Total score is NSW 347 Qld 385.  Just to show how close the 2 sides really are.

Have just rewatched the no try ruling and if Nat Myles has knocked on which was the ruling then the ball was knocked into Morgan who was off side so why no penalty?  Just saying.

Heard the rumour about Slater as well.

As for refereeing bring back the Grasshopper or Hollywood Bill for those of us old enough to remember.

Kicking A like no 2morrow, Go Queensland

Jay

No surprise that once the lure of a 'decider' is no more, that QLD are wrecking...
