Staton's BE, Is he just too tempting?

With a B/E of just 32, scoring insanely well this year and got a 175 against Carlton last year... but a round 13 bye I don't know what to do and I think many people are in the same situation so I've got to ask is he is worth it?

I like many other people have a stacked field of round 13 bye players. If I get him I wont be able to field 18 players in round 13 without sideways trading a premo (considering I have Scotland I'm trying to work out if thats such a bad thing with Hanley bottoming out around that time). He's just so tempting to get right now but I had him last year and am terrified by putting him in my team!

Yeah, I've talked myself into bringing him in. I was initially scared of the fact that he could drop off like he did in the second half of last year, but he is simply too tempting at his price.

He is currently 512k, which is the equivalent of a 99 average. Considering that he is averaging 115 (123 without the sub affected 51), he is seriously underpriced. His bye round is very annoying, but I think I should still be ok for round 13 and *touch wood* avoid any donuts.

Ditto, AC predicted that I would narrowly win 2 of my byes and lose 1 (Round 13). I've now sacrificed round 13 to sure up the previous two rounds and part of that is bringing in Stanton. Fingers crossed he doesn't lose his momentum in the second half but at that price it's worth the gamble.

rd13's not too much of a problem for me (4 mid premos) and i'll be trading out Jaeger before then (likely for Tom Mitchell, who who actually play his 3rd until rd13, and i'd like another week at him)

can just afford it too, which is good :)

I think i am potentially throwing round 13 to get this bloke. He  was 100% on my never again list but i cant avoid his scores again. atleast this time i wont be paying full price for him and if he starts to be a spud i will just sideways him with unlimited trades. less risk involved and higher reward

i'm jumping on him this round. Already have swallow, cotchin and priddis in the mids, with downgrade targets of Hrovat and T. Mitch. Also, I'm thinking rd 13 might be the right time to offload JOM for a premo. If everything goes according to plan I should have 19 playing in rd 13, so I'm not worried about bringing in Stants.

If i bring stants in i will have 6 premium mids round 13 in the mids which is pretty extensive. but i will still be fielding 18 players so i of the belief in terms of overall that the spread of your premiums over the 3 rounds isnt ultra important as long as you can field 18 every time. because at the end of the byes all your premiums will have played the same amount of times, u might just score less in one round but not overall

I suppose it depends if you're going for overall or league wins. With 6 premo mids out in rd 13 you're going to find it hard to win that round.
