Disappointing finish but we can take a heap of positives out of tonight. Oar!

If we do not finish in the top 2 of group then dont we playoff for like a wildcard? Cant even remember.

this, "can people please accept that the Socceroos are shower and that Australia is not a football nation?" (remind you of anyone, Nigey ;)) They made the world cup in 06 after nobody giving a flower for 30 years and fluked it into the second round, then flounded out in 2010. Only a matter of years until nobody cares again.

I think that is a bit harsh, 2010 we were robbed by the refs (Kewell + Cahill red cards) and '06 we were heaps good and had eventual winners Italy on the ropes until one of their diving cows sold his act to the refs. I think we are competitive side. I have no reason to not support the country I live in.

Football is here to stay in Australia Jukesy and i thought you would understand and want that :P

Yep Jordan next week, Iraq week after, Oman on 9 points with 7 played, Us and Jordan are 7 with 6 played so technally if we win Jordan were above of Oman, and our GD is alot better then Oman and Jordan so maybe just maybe we can get in with a win and draw, but if all else fails theres the 3rd place asian play off  ::)

I'm sick of this argument by people who don't know what they're talking about. We were not robbed by the refs, Kewell clearly stopped a certain goal (he was standing on the goal line) with his arm. That is the perfect definition of a red card! Can't even remember the Cahill one though... Then in '06 he did not dive. Lucas Neil flowered up big time by sliding in way too early leaving his whole body on the ground to be tripped over. That was all Neil's fault, not the Italian for "selling his act", nor the refs for "buying" it.

Cahill's red, yea it was, Kewell, mayvbe it wasnt intentional but it was a handball, and i do not want to speak of that Neill moment, dive or not it sucked :(

Will the real Soccerroos please stand up?

Very unlucky way to lose, stupid penalty to give away though (but it was  definitely there)

Play like they did last night and we'll be off to Brazil.
