I think it might really be time to start paying some respect to his scores and potentially bring him in after his round 11 bye. low score of 74 and only tipped under 100 once more with a 99. Should be around 500k for someone averaging a touch over 110. seems like a bargain to me. what does everyone else think??

He seems solid! its the first time this year ive stopped looking at players based on last years scores ie cotchin, boyd and started to look at guys actually scoring well cornes, jack, barlow.

He's a risk because he's got a low % ownership but if he keeps smashing massive scores he looks the goods!!

I've got him and initially viewed him as a stepping stone to Swan but have now been convinced to hold. The guys is scoring well in a losing team and can go huge when they win. Suffers from some stigma as an oldy but is incredibly durable and now underpriced...about the only play (with Gaj) not to suck for me this week. Buy with confidence.

He looks like he will average 110+, I would definitely pick him up next week but I don't think that will be possible because I'm going O'Meara-> Stants this week  :-\ I can't turn down Stanton with that cheap price tag and the 129 average (taking away his two sub affected games)

He is really the best midfielder along with Gaj this year :) I think he has been much better than Swan. The 70 score was his first game back since his injury two weeks prior so that and the Raines tag really show how good of a dt slut he's proven to be this season. You can tell from 'possessions by foot' and he always has that ;)

yeah cotchin's been really showerhouse. considering those 3 names strongly!

Jack or Barlow will be my next in

Kellogscrunchynut

I'd have Barlow over him at the moment.

I honestly can't decide... Pick up Stanton this week and have 6 of 10 midfielders out r13 or Cornes next week for O'Meara which will free up a lot of space for round 13... I honestly can't decide. I don't want to miss out on Stanton. I could try gain cash over the next two weeks to try and turn Crouch into Cornes, Jack or Barlow for r13 in two weeks.. This is difficult  :-\

I guess I'll have to wait for teams. My current trades are:
O'Meara-> Stanton
Lee-> Burberry (if named)

Im even tempted to throw Griffen into my calculations . He has a huge ceiling and is averaging 105. Another out of left field pick which i always like

I've had Griffen since the draft in fantasy elite and he's been fantastic :) I doubt he'll average 100 by the end of the season though. He was only averaging 96 until his 166, still a great player but if I had to choose between him, Cornes or Stanton he would still be my last preference. Could make a great POD though and a strong M8 by the end of the season :)

pinochio

do ppl think cornes is worth picking up next week?
...or spend a bit more moneys and get barlow...

Freo have a great finals draw. i'm leaning towards Barlow

I'm gathering your looking for a round 11 mid next round like me with the major options:
Barlow: Scored heavily over the past month, capable of 115 average or 95 average pricey but should be good
Cornes: Scoring so well, has got that feeling that he could fall
Cotchin: hasnt tonned up since round 4 but is a bargain price if he returns to form, should drop to 420/430k
Griffen: has a huge ceiling but is still yet to push elite category, normally does this very eratic with 3 scores below 80 3 above 125 from his 8 games can cop a tag.
Deledio: love him, in my side but has been tagged/ struggled in a few games this year, can be a flat track bully

with other options being:
Boyd: great player, no longer mr durible, has only hit the ton in 2/6 games but one was against the hapless saints.
Mitchell: hasnt been to shabby but has a massive BE this week pass.
Fyfe: wouldnt touch him with barlow being the better DTer
Redden: left field but he has averaged 100 over the past 2 years

thats my thoughts, im looking at barlow as my first choice with cornes a possibility after the byes as my last mid
