As you can see, my team is in a bad way. I need advice on trades for this week and maybe a couple of rounds ahead. I do not really have a bye strategy but I think I am set up ok. Any tips?

I have 17 trades and 96k in the bank.

Leuenberger, Shaw, Rockliff, Terlich, Crouch, Viney! Boy am I struggling with injuries and wtf Sauce Jacobs >:(

Cheers lads

Terlich -> Colquhoun
Leunberger -> Nic Nat/Nick Roo (use Cox in the ruck)
:)

Could you have a look at mine too: http://forum.fanfooty.com.au/index.php/topic,81523.0.html

I would wait to see what final decision is on Terlich as if only a week you can cover,  Also wait for confirmation that Berger is out 4/6 weeks as well.  Know Voss said that but full medical reports still not available.

I would look at these options:

If Daw is named
Daw to Staker returning Rowe to DPP
Jacobs to Naitanui

If Daw not named.
Viney to Staker moving Dwyer or Kennedy to mid bench
Berger to Minson.

Couple of considerations for you but we are all in the same boat this week with injuries.  Avoiding a do nut may be difficult.

I'm in a similar position myself. And here's what I'm doing

Terlich -> Staker
Leuenberger -> Naitanui

Then next week Stevens to Hrovat

And then Monfries to McEvoy 170 odd BE. Putting Naitanui in my forward line after StK bye, when is that?

Jay

Cheers lads, gives me some stuff to think about

My goal is basically to avoid donuts as much as I can over these next few weeks. Leuey seems gone, can't carry him through the byes, but boy my patience with Sauce is wearing thin, just reluctant to trade a guy that is supposed to be one of the best rucks in the comp, well he was last year!

Terlich should be fine, still has plenty of money to make -ve break-even.

Jay

Think I need to avoid a 0 in my mids. Also Leuey has to go.

Viney --> Staker (Kennedy mid)
Berger --> ?

Thoughts? Team is in OP

tor01doc

Lonergan has to go. Donut R13 and he's not back for a while I guess.

Staker either forward or back?

If you swing Kennedy to mids, won't that leave you a forward donut - Rocky, Rowe and Dwyer?

Move a def - no wait - still getting one there.

I think you'll have to sit on Leue and rely on Daw and Jacobs - eeeww.

You need a mid AND a forward.

Bye bye Lonergan and one of Rowe or Dwyer for Staker and a cheap mid playing OR cop a donut - it won't be your last over the next few weeks.

Or Lonergan and Viney out + here kitty = $333100 roughly.

Minus 128 Staker leaves you with $205100.

So if there are 2 spaces open in mids you can move Dwyer into one, get Staker as a forward and move Goodes into mids and get a cheap defender like Wright or Webster.

Or grab Hrovat into mids.

God / HH / Hartlett / Goodes / Shaw / Gibbs - Terlich / Thurlow
GAJ / Pendles / JPK / Cotchin / Mundy / Priddis / JOM / Hrovat - Dwyer / Crouch
Jacobs / Daw - Leue / Gawn
Cox / Dusty / JJK / SJ / Kennedy / Staker - Rowe / Rocky

V on Pendles with C on Crouch or Thurlow or Rowe or Gawn  ;D ;D ;D ;D - lots of options

with GAJ as back up C.

No donuts, Hrovat and Staker will eventually come in anyway, Leue can wait.

Now, ask yourself this, is NicNat and a donut worth more than playing Daw and Jacobs?

Jay

Jacobs will bounce back with a ton, hopefully Daw is named. If not :o :o :o

No Daw!

Any future from Leuey out, move Cox, buy Staker?

Then a mid/fwd for either Viney or Lonergan so you can bench one of Rocky/Dwyer in the mids, and one in the fwds?

Jay

DAW DROPPED.

Is a 0 unavoidable now. Anyone get a master plan? ;)

So you would like something like this?

Went Leuey to Staker and Lonergan to Bartel.

Thoughts? Might just trade Leuey to Staker tonight...

GoldDigger

Yeah, nah, yeah, I dunno!

Bartel seems a great choice with the next couple of Cats games ...

What would you do mate, facing 3 donuts? :o

Just put Bartel in there for now, dpp makes sense.

Lock in Leuey --> Staker and worry about what to do with remaining cash tomorrow?

Jay

Just did Leuey --> Staker.

Lonergan to a premium tomorrow. Watson?
