you are correct, I wasn't clear I was referring to the scoring in DT of those two ruckmen over many previous seasons, and them being the type of players that DT scores well.

no doubt nicnat will be the best ruck option in both comps eventually as he has started to get his hands on plenty of the ball as well as winning hitouts, and he kicks goals. complete package really just needs his 20 possessions, a goal or two and 30 hitouts to ton up regularly in DT. no bonus for how effective he is in DT :)

sandi never kicked too many goals but he was great at taking intercept marks off the opposition kickouts and long kicks down the line which boosted his scoring.

cox kicked goals and just got plenty of the ball.

i don't think a relatively un-athletic tap ruckman like sandi will ever score so well again in DT with the way they have changed the game a good ruckman will have to have a midfielders tank, speed and ability to win the ball and tackle to do any good.

just depends on your other lines, it does not matter if you have no rucks playing at all as long as you have the required number playing in total in your team.
