Maybe I worded my question wrong.

I just wanted to know at what ranking would someone just give up on overall dreams.

I don't think the overall matters as much as the point differential. You might be ranked 50th but 1st could have a 600 point lead on you. I think from here on out it is possible to make up around 50 points a week on average from here to the end of the season if your team is set up right and the POD's fire. So 500 points difference might be stretching it

Well after my stupendous decision to play Clisby instead of Terlich and had C on Jobe, I dropped a feww thousand places last wek :( now at 7352. Not looking good for my aim to beat my last years ranking and get into the top 2000

I am still aiming to get as high as possible but have given up on overall

Current ranking 627 and just over 1000 points behind leader so not a realistic chnace of making that up in remaining weeks.

I think it more depends on how many pts you are behind moreso than the pure overall ranking ... however at this stage of the game, I would guess that if you're not w/in the top300, you'd be up against it to catch those at the top all other things being equal ...

i would think if you're w/in around 1000pts you could mathematically still be in with a (though unlikely) chance ...

Last week managed to move up, yes up to 10,216 ::)

No idea what I'm really aiming for now tbh, going for leagues. I guess top 5k is out of reach so anything under 10k would be fine I guess.

Agree that anyone outside the top 300 look shot, you'd want to be entrenched in the top 100 IMO to really have a serious crack at it with most teams up there being complete and relatively similar.

the bye rounds are the flowerin worst ey. ranked 255 before them, rank 3989 now.

just have a bloody week off mid season. problem solved

Currently ranked 22nd :-)

The bye rounds worked out well for me and my plans were very worthwhile.

I was 339th pre byes and finished 38th after the byes!

Currently making my season defigning decisions now!

the top 2 guys are looking in abit of trouble this week, particualry the number 2 guy you should be able to catch up some points on them.
