From what i heard from Foxsports tonight Goodes doesnt want to take it any further as it is was a teenage girl who made the remark. Eddie could care less about Adam's feelings, he was in the Swans room afterwards for one purpose, and that is to protect the Collingwood brand.
We don't know what the young girl said (it doesn't look good) but she did stay at the ground, unlike 25,000 others who left at 3/4 time.

Actually Roost I just heard Eddie speak and he was quite impressive. Sure there is damage control but I'm glad he spoke well because in moments like this is when we need leadership. Such a shame that a great performance (as usual by Goodes V Pies) is diluted by a stupid mindless 14 year old kid. I hope she has a decent support network around her, because she will need it.

The image of Adam Goodes pointing the finger has the potential to be as strong an image as Nicky Winmar but with a new message. Instead of Nicky's image proudly asking 'look at me' , Goodes image may be more powerful in asking 'take a look at yourself'.


I still think Eddie could have shown Goodes more respect by siding with him in his silence and not say anything publicly so immediately, the class Goodes showed was exemplary.

Good on you Goodesy, much respect for him after how he played and handled himself last night. Legend of the game.

I also gained a lot of respect for Eddie, thought he handled it well even if it was just to save face. But I actually think he is passionate about stamping this bullshower out of the game.
