Even without him the Hawks would still have one of the most dynamic forward lines in the league.

Gunston, Roughead, Rioli, Breust and Poppy with Lewis, Hale and others chipping in. Savage has already kicked 11 in his 12 games and Burgoyne 15 for the season.

I know Buddy brings other benefits but if we can put the hole in our salary cap to good use then I think we can be as good, if not better, than we currently are.

Not to mention Grimley seems to be a walk-in starter when Buddy isn't playing :)

I'm actually thinking it's more likely that he'll stay now - hope it's the case!

For all we've said about having a decent forwardline without him, there's no doubt that we're a better team when he's firing.
