Yeh never been a real fan either Toga, can be freezing out there at times to. As Tbags said some good memories there but will be alot happier and able to attend alot more games at Adelaide oval with the ease of getting there and getting home if youd like to have a few beers at the footy.

I guess growing up in Melbourne has me seeing the differences between the quality of the 'G and AAMI. That and seeing the cricket @ Adelaide Oval thinking how good the footy would be there.

I guess not supporting either of the Adelaide teams leaves me with no real sentimental attachment to the stadium - I know a lot of you guys do and I respect that but I feel as though it will be a good day for SA footy when we can see it in the city. A very good day. :)

Memories are good but that's all they are the need for stadium in the city is vital, Footy Park as we call it was always a white elephant only ever full in some SANFL grand finals early days and state games against the Vic's were unreal , then the Crows come along and it started to fill up occasionally but always so difficult to get to and out of and home and lets face it a pretty crappy deal from the SANFL with stadium returns for both Port and the Crows, bloody freezing in winter haha bugger the memories cant wait to get to Adelaide oval. The biggest advantage will be so many more kids will be able to get on the train and get to games where its not possible for mum or dad to always be going like when i was a kid getting on the train going to watch Centrals play, to easy and for the same reasons you think more adults will go and also have a night in the city, should of happened years ago.  :)
