Team so far

Trades:
RD9:
C. HEATH -> J. THURLOW
L. STEVENSON -> E. KAVANAGH

RD10:
S. DWYER -> B. STAKER
M. DAW -> L. BALL?

RD11:

RD12:
L. BROWN -> G. BIRCHALL
M. JONES -> T. COTCHIN

RD13:
N. VLASTUIN -> B. WATERS
B. MACAFFER -> N. NAITANUI

RD14:
O'MEARA -> D. SWAN

Leaves a team with

B. Goddard, H. Hartlett, B. Gibbs, G. Birchall, B. Waters, B. Goodes (J. Thurlow, J. Pittard)

G. Ablett, S. Pendlebury, T. Cotchin, D. Swan, J.P. Kennedy, P. Dangerfield, M. Priddis, M. Murphy (L. Ball, E. Kavanagh)

B. McEvoy, M. Leuenberger (M. Blicavs, S. Rowe)

L. Franklin, D. Martin, D. Cox, N. Naitanui, T. Rockliff, J. Kennedy, (B. Staker, B. Kennedy)

The rookies left are likely to change. Also i will have 15 trades remaining to upgrade poor performers (eg: Leuy, Kennedy, Goodes etc)

Thought? Rating? Improvements?

Seems like a decent plan, only thing i'd change is having luke ball on you bench, i get that he could be good back up for a premium injury but if you were to bring in a cash generating rookie instead that'd allow you to upgrade goodes to a premium or JJK to stevie j?

Dwyer still has a couple nice weeks of price rises... probably dump Macaffer first.

Also would be nervous about that backline because Waters and Hartlett seem to get hurt a lot, Gibbs is already hurt, Thurlow plays for a really good side that doesn't give much playing time to really young players, and Pittard is made of glass.

Here's a list of the good vs the 'bad' ( The 'bad' not actually being bad, but being in your team / plans who could be improved upon)

Good - Hanley, Shaw, maybe Scotland depending how he goes after his bye - has been scratchy but usually scores well. Selwood and Watson. Goldstein and Bartel.

Bad - Hartlett, Waters, Priddis, Murphy, Leue, JJK - so just to reiterate - these are not bad but compared to the good list, are not quite as good.

Nicely placed though, aren't you?

It is a week early on Dwyer, but come Melbourne (RD11), his be jumps to 80+ if he averages 76 over the next 2 games. But looking at that, possibly trade Blicavs before Dwyer. After the Melbourne game he will start losing cash IMO. (Hope that he doesn't, but...)

This is to all, I guess I am in a position to be able to risk getting those players who are high scoring but injury prone. By the end of the byes I will have probably 12-13 trades (minimum) to cover me for 9 rounds. I can afford an injury or 2 if it comes to that.

Hanley is one that I will look at probably getting rid of Hartlett. Murphy, JJK and Leue will definitely be on my radar after the byes I agree tor.

What trade changes would you suggest? Already thinking Blicavs-->Staker instead of Dwyer...

roo boys!

Looks like a nice plan mate, having 15 trades left after it is a great position to be in and you can always re-asses players like Hartlett, JJK, Berger etc like you said. Goodes -> Hanley could be an option further down the path.

To put it into context I think I'm looking at 13 or possibly even 12 trades left when my team is in a similar position so you're doing well.
