So I'm looking at upgrading players and notice that my final midfield I expect will be pretty much rd13 bye players, and a couple of them are probably worth getting soon (Watson and Dangerfield). But my current Mids I already have GAJ, Pendles and Swan with a round 13 bye. I've got JPK and Priddis in my current side too. So, is it worth planning for the byes and waiting to get some of these players in, or should I bring them in whenever ready, given that I will have C and VC choices every round, beyond that I'm better off banking the points...

Thoughts. Go.

get cotchin instead of danger. he has a round 11 bye which not many other ultra-prem mids have, and he will score better than danger imo

This is what I'm thinking. Two spots left and wanting Swan and Watson. Is anybody going for league win tanking round 13 and loading up on round 13 premium players?

I was considering it but I dropped a game this week by 24 points (F U Grant Birchall!) so I dunno if I want to tank, but feel like Jobe might keep increasing if I don't grab him soon, leaving me with my top 4 mids out rd13...

Not sure. Guess everyone will have relatively weak teams those rounds anyway so maybe still worth considering

I relatively going ok with the bye structure and haven't lost a league match this year so tanking round 13 is definitely on the cards for me if it means upgrading to premium players on the cheap.

I reckon you can get away with having 4 round 13 bye premium midfielders, no more than 4 though. You'd need to get rid of all your round 13 bye rookies too.
