Stanton - Requested by Jigsaw
Last 3: 51, 114, 130 (98 avg)
Last 3 against Brisbane: 193, 89, 88 (123 avg)
Last 3 at Etihad: 51,  130, 62 (81 avg)

At this ground against the Lions last year, Stanton scored a ridiculous 193. It would be a stretch to assume he'll get there again but it wouldn't be too far fetched to think he'll go big. Obviously, he's been smashing it this year and only injury could stop him against GWS. However, there are too many risks. Firstly, he's coming back from injury. Secondly, he could get the Raines tag as tags work a lot better on him than Jobe (although, in a blow out win, a tag hardly makes a difference). Finally, Stanton's floor is so much lower than the very best premiums (despite his ceiling being so damn high). Prediction - 115

My words of wisdom in my captains article (important bits highlighted). Yes, my prediction is completely wrong, but I said that a tag wouldn't make a difference in a blow out. I wasn't so much wrong on how he'd go as I was on how Essendon would go ::)
Still, Stanton will get tagged lots because he gets lots of cheap possies. It's much easier to prevent someone from getting the cheap possies that from getting into the action themselves!

Comments like these put a smile on my face :D
Now to convince m0nty to get rid of the "Calvin's no. 1 captain" symbol from live scores and replace it with "LaHug's no. 1 captain". I wonder what the odds of that happening are...

BRISSSBANNNNEEEEE!!!!! What a win by the boys today. A great 4 quarter effort and really not much to fault in there. Full of confidence to take on Carlton at the Gabba next week.

And while I don't think Merrett should be suspended, he will probably get 2-3 weeks because Hurley was concussed. Also I hope Clarke doesn't get any time out because it was just a bump. He got the 50 for it, but it wasn't high, so it shouldn't be reported.

Don't even think m0nty would be up for that... They're frequently the same player anyway.

If Clarke doesn't get weeks for that I have lost all faith in the system

Clarke's was a lot worse than Merrett. Clarke deliberately hit him. should be at least 2-3

Ringo

Agree that Clarkes hit will cost him a week or 2.

Clarke was dog, Merrett is just angry because he's a ranga :P

From memory, Stanton doesn't have a good record Vs Lions apart from that 193. I know this because I advised my mate not to go Stants C Vs Lions.

Gets 386.  ::)
