Surely he wouldn't go straight into the team from the rookie list...

He's not playing this week, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a game next week against his old team.

Especially with Tuck/Conca out, you guys would benefit from the bigger body around the stoppages IMO. Sammy has a nasty habit of popping up for a goal at inconvenient times as well.

They'll probably give Biscuits a run, see how he goes and if he doesn't perform, it's almost a straight swap in him for Lonners next week.

How has Lonergan been travelling in the VFL? Havent heard much about him

specky92

Well I'm scared, although arguably essendon has played it's two strongest games at the G. (Melbourne & Collingwood)

Jroo

Lonergan will make his debut for the Tigers against his old club on Saturday  :o
Heard this from a reliable source

Doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Hope he has a ripper game.  8)

+1 Nigey hope he does well. Happy we picked him up, he'll be a great replacement for Tuck.

Toga

YES. :-*

So happy Sammy comes in.

Nige

He's named in the team, Ivan comes back, so does Newy.

Robbie, Orren and Matt Dea the omissions.

Davey is important for us though

Looking forward to this game. Always a good game to watch as a neutral  :)

Toga

Well we played like shower. :o

Credit to Essendon who completely outplayed us but for most of the game we were terrible. :-\

Batchelor has to go imo.

I thought Newman played very well, Cotchin had electric spurts, Vlastuin was good for three quarters. Just too many silly turnovers, atleast you can say we have room for improvement rather than we played to our full potential and still lost
