Evening fellow supercoachers!

I am considering doing wines to luke ball. I know he may be sub material however we know how good ball is at winning the footy. I was considering him as he can score very well and could quite possibly do what moloney has done and make some serious dough.

I would wait for him to be on the bubble before even looking at him and probably still would not consider him as I would want to use the cash elsewhere.

It's getting to the stage of the season where people are upgrading to ultra prems.  A value mid money maker like Ball doesn't present real value at this stage when you have a bunch of cows mooing to build your final midfield.

What would you do with this ?

Backs: Goddard, gibbs, hanley, waters, lester, terlich (brown, corr)
Mids: ablett, pendles, jellwood, fyfe, S.Mitchell, omeara, wines, vlastuin (crouch, kommer)
Rucks: cox, jacobs (daw, gawn)
Fwds: bartel, franklin, lecras, kennedy, rockliff, neade (rowe, mayes)

For his price pass, he would have been fine to start the season and use to trade to a fallen premo like Priddis like I am doing with Wines this week, but you really want to be downgrading for tons of cash and bringing in guys you think will be at the very top of the mid tree. Ball is not one of those players. If you want to downgrade Wines, look at someone like Lonergan, Kennedy or Cachia this week to free up some cash. Then use that cash to try and upgrade Neade.

yeah agree with a few comments. very good option if he was fit at the start but myself I'm now bringing in fallen premos or ultra premos in the mids

I would like other stevie j or martin however i don't have enough if i just downgrade wines to lonergan. I could downgrade beade to staker then upgrade mayes next week to stevie j?

look how some other guns have started after coming back from injury Thomas, Pavlich etc takes a while to get match fitness back best to monitor there first couple of games he will get a vest for sure this week

Yeah i didn't pick up thomas mainly because he isn't in my final team. That is why i am hesitant on priddis because i don't see him in my final team.

Ball had Beams, Pendles, Swan and Sidey firing last  time in a good side so Ball was left alone.
Reckon the Pies aren't travelling as well this time so he may struggle. Just a thought.

I was doing it so i could then just plain upgrade him to a premo!
