RICHMOND has suffered a cruel double blow, with recruit Chris Knights ruled out for the rest of the season with a patella tendon injury and fellow midfielder Shane Tuck also facing two months off.

Knights had surgery on Sunday to repair his right knee, an injury he sustained during the second quarter of Saturday

He was really looking good, it's a real shame this had to happen. Opens the door for a few players though?

Really disappointing, was playing some good footy. Hopefully he can get his body right and be a part of next season for us.

Think it might open the door for Nahas again, should get some more games in Knights' absence up forward, or otherwise means Titch will just move up forward again opening a spot in the midfield for Conca when he comes back..
