I didn't see the match but recent form hasn't suggested to me that Adelaide are looking very good.. So I'm assuming the Giants were very poor? ???

they were competitive in the first half, like had equal inside 50s, just struggled to convert... the first half difference was inexperience- poor decision making, undisciplined frees, poor shots at goal etc.

the second half though, adelaide ran rings around us. I don't know if it was the smaller bodies or what (lynch kicking 8 goals in the second half didn't really help).

I think it was the younger bodies, we were really missing cornes and davis today, as well as ohailpin/ patton. The mismatch in height in the backline really hurt- reid's 11cm shorter than lynch, and he struggled to stay in marking contests without giving away a free.

have noticed if they do well one week they get flogged the next just a fitness issue imo will get sorted in time talent and structure is there
