Hey Valk how far off do you think Zac Clarke is all i can find is "achillies" and "test" nothing really about how long they expect him to be out. I keep getting my hopes up then he dosnt get up :-(

valkorum

If there wasnt the state game on this weekend then he would be playing WAFL this weekend.  Due to the state game (Vic v WA) there are no WAFL games this weekend.

I think he will play 1 or 2 weeks in the WAFL then come back in to the side.

Valk,do you think that there is a spot for him now with Hannath and Silvagni!!
I don't think there is,he will have to really burn in the WAFL.I think that even Tanner Smith may be ahead of him now.

valkorum

I believe he is ahead of Hannath, Silvagni and Smith.  He is a much better ruckman than Hannath.

valkorum

Looks like Zac should get his chance next week as it doesnt look good for Griffin.  Clarke/Hannath in the ruck with Silvagni still up forward.

Hope so Valk, not that i care about Freo i just really need a ruckman in Axv's  ;)

RTB has gone on record saying to Zac that "He needs to step up".  Surely Zac will come in to the side this week - we may even see Moller get upgraded as an LTI replacement.

isn't moller injured atm?

I wouldn't risk upgrading him before he's fit :P

valkorum

I thought Moller was only a minor injury *runs off to check*

valkorum

Moller listed as 2 weeks with a quad

still, surely you wouldn't upgrade while he's still injured.

From what Ross was saying, it sounded like Clarke would be playing in the WAFL this week. He sounded pretty certain that Clarke would not come straight in to the squad.

It would mean that Hannath will do most of the ruck duties with Dawson pinch hitting.

Dawson killed it in the ruck on Saturday night, but not sure if he'll be able to repeat that performance for four quarters next week.

Time to step up Zac

After Saturday night's win, Ross Lyon passed Zac Clarke in the players' race. "You need to step up", the senior coach said bluntly to his ruckman. How Clarke responds to this challenge is up to him, but one thing is certain, his coach doesn't dance around the obvious.

RTB just said in his weekly news interview that Zac Clarke is in the mix for this week.
