Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted he is not close to striking a deal to sign Germany midfielder Julian Draxler from Schalke.

Yet when asked directly whether a deal for Draxler was close, Wenger provided a resounding response in the negative, before he distanced himself from reports that the midfielder had been given a tour of the Arsenal Hertfordshire training base in recent days.

Why is draxler RVP2.0.. Thought he was more of a winger..

Well i bought draxler in FM13 for 44mil and played him as a winger :P considered him as a poor-mans gareth bale who would have costed me 100mil

Van Persie started as a winger at the gunners as well, Wenger said he could transform Draxler into a CF. it definitely won't happen this transfer window but something tells me it might happen in the future, would love him and Giroud up front,  8)

I think Henry started as a winger at Arsenal, although that was because his previous club played him out of position

Moyes has been given 150mill to spend this Jan so thats why his making all these offers so Cavani, Barkley and Lallana have also joined the list wanted by Moyes.

Anderson has left United on loan to go to Fiorentina

He will now turn in to the player we all hoped he would be at United. I always liked Ando, just a shame that whenever he started to show form he would get some massive injury :(
