+1. We have Azpilicueta and Ivanovic who are great on both sides of defence plus guys like Essien who are more than capable of filling in.

In saying that, I doubt we would let both him AND Ash Cole leave in one window without securing a replacement first. Luke Shaw would be perfect ;)

Such a great player, my favourite Chelsea player by far, so I hope he remains in the Premier League. If United are after an attacking mid they should move heaven and Earth for him ... Having said that I don't know much about Koke from Atletico, and Chelsea will not want to sell to United

Because he's an egotistical douche-canoe. Like, I don't mean to be offensive, but god dammit Chelsea absolutely shiit me to tears. You have so many good players but all you want to do is buy more more more and in doing so, you force out quality players such as Mata. Take a leaf out of a club like Everton's book; they buy players they need, have satisfactory depth and because of it, are able to keep everyone happy. He'll go back to Spain in an attempt to get himself into the squad/starting XI for the World Cup would be my tip.

Feel free to put in a bid however Liverpool! Imagine a front three of Sturridge, Suarez and Mata with Coutinho playing in behind them  :-*
