I'd take both tbh.

Khedira is a DM which would add depth there but above all it would add a player whose natural position is Defensive Midfield.

Contrao is interesting, seems to have the ability to play LB and LW... Has experience in Europe... Could be a great Ash Cole replacement in the future (Bertrand is neither here nor there atm) but I reckon he would be a sick defensive winger for when we play clubs with great full-backs.

Watch this space but I like these rumours :P

He can go forward but its his defending that is suss atm. That, and the fact Cole was in ripping form this season, he could hardly get a look in! :P
