I'm a Torres fan, but it's pretty clear the whole Torres to Chelsea thing really didn't work for the most part. He had patches and moments, but it's not what we expected when we signed him. It's pretty easy to understand why Jose wouldn't be so keen on keeping him, especially if he could end up getting someone like Cavani for him! Besides, we still have Demba, Lukaku, might be getting Schurrle and all those mids of ours chipping in to add the goal tally.

Should be a very interesting rest of the transfer window for sure though.

Navas goes to City for 17m (plus add-ons). At 27 he's barely progressed since he was 23-or-so, would've been a better signing a few years ago. He's a quality player though.

Also I reckon 49mil for Neymar is stupid; unproven in a big league, not out-of-this-world in an average league in Brazil either. Would've paid 30 tops for him atm.
