I've already gone Wines --> Vlastuin, and now can upgrade Heath to any defender.

Leaning towards Heppell purely because everyone else has him and if he continues to score well, It'll hurt me more. Scotland is proven and so safe every year. Pretty much goes 80+ every week.

Current backline:

Goddard, (******), Hartlett, Duffield, Goodes, Vlastuin (Terlich, Stevenson)

I went Scotland, Shaw, Daisy and Harry O all ran pretty loose last week against the saints. I think with Gibbs out also Scotland should be the go to target out of defence.

Tigers scored pretty bad against the cats last week, they could do the same against the Dons.

Overall or league??

Pretty much both, but overall is more important to me. :P

I reckon go with Scotland, seriously cant doubt this guy!
Proven gun, has a favorable draw coming up.

Essendon have been undefeated, so I'm thinking Hepps(and generally Essendon's) scoring may drop slightly.

Go Scotland for the draw, proven gun and probably more consistent.(You don't want your whole backline to be inconsistent!)

Not having Hepp when he destroy will hurt.

I just see more upside in Dyson. Scotland won't be getting any better TBH. Gotta have both at some point & I'd just limit the damage and get Hepp TBH.... :-\

I would go Scotland just for the slightly softer draw and because he is such a gun POD

Scotland would make a nice unique and proven performer. Scotland for consistency, Heppell for ceiling but I think Heppell will average more but Scotland is a guaranteed 80-100 each week with a whopper of a score every few weeks. I started Heppell but if I was in your position I wouldn't be able to decide, I'd just go whoever is cheaper or flip a coin because disregarding injuries you can't go wrong either way. I wouldn't be surprised if Scotland finished with a higher average I might be trying to bring him in later :) Plus he would scare an opponent more than Hep D

My suggestion is flip a coin :)

Not expecting Scotland to get any better really, just hoping for a 90-95 average and should hopefully be a top 6 defender.

It's just annoying seeing Hepp ton up when everyone else has him and I don't. He also 'looks' better for some reason. :P

Tough call! :-\

I think Hep is in for a tough gig this week against the cats. Whether he plays through the middle of off the half back, I don't think he'll have too much space.

Dempsey and Stanton out might mean he'll get more attention.

Like I said before, the pies defenders were basically unaccounted for last week against the saints.

its me lads

Out with the old in with the new  ;)

Scotland is a good option and will be consistent, bring him in later perhaps but Heppell will average more.

Ridiculously tough call

I voted Heppell. Go the big player over 20% ownership and then bring in Scotland (I think 7%)

Heppel will average more, but Scotland for consistency

Ricochet

I like Scotland for his consistency. Especially with Carlton's next few games before the byes
