Round 7 Discussion

All of Maric, Vickery, Grimes and Petterd in a little doubt for the match against the Power.
The Big O, Edwards, Griffiths and Dea will all be on stand by if any of them don't play.
I wouldn't mind seeing Maric having the week off if he's not 100%, Big O will be able to hold his own against Lobbe and Renouf.
Foley and Tuck are also a chance to come back in.
Hopefully Cotchin and Deledio bounce back after a poor performance.

Yeah if Maric ain't 100% imo he should be given the week off, Port's rucks are young and aren't dominant so I'm sure Orren could hold his own.

But if Vicks misses as well, it might be a good idea to bring in Benny Griffiths as well just as a bit of back-up for the big man, just in case.

Foley and Tuck to come back in the side at the expense of who? White and Vlastuin? Thought Vlastuin has done really well so far, especially last week, so would be disappointing to see him dropped :(

Port's talls are a bit thin at the moment, so I'd like to see Az come in for his debut to stretch their defence a little. Even if Vickery does play!

And yeah bit disappointing from Cotch and Lids last week, I know Cotch had a cold and bung knee so hopefully he's all mended this week. Not sure what to say about Lids, didn't see the game, but sounds like he was well held by Hunt... Really needs to work hard to start breaking these tags, he is so important to the team with his scoreboard pressure. Hopefully he can come out with a big one this week.


Bit of a must-win game I feel. Think we can do it, the last few I've been to in Adelaide we have beaten them convincingly, but Port is a new side this year and won't be a walkover. Steve Morris and Bachar will have to be on their games this week against Wingard and Neade, and must be more accountable this week if we are to win.

I'll be at the game cheering us on, carn the Tiges!

I would like to see Azza play, but with Vickery looking likely to play I can't see us playing 4 key forwards.

Such a big game for both teams. Form leading in you would have to back port I reckon. Would like to see them out back in their box though. Their supporters are already getting cocky and talking finals  ::)

Always like us beating the local teams so it shuts everyone up, but it's good to see Port back on the right track. Just not this weekend. :P
